Facilitated in a safe and positive environment, EFT Core Skills 1 focuses on Stage 1 learning about EFT assessment and de-escalation, along with the attachment processes which drive negative interactional patterns.
This four-day workshop includes:
- Supportive Instruction
- Skill demonstration
- Experiential learning
- Video clips with EFT trainers
- Video presentations from participants with practice & case feedback
Learn the skills to identify the conflict and track the negative interactional patterns, access unacknowledged emotions and use the attachment reframe to promote de-escalation and readiness for Stage 2 of therapy.
- Each participant must present a case and show a 10-12 minute tape. (This is an International Centre for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT) requirement. If your agency prevents you from taping clients, or you have other difficulties around this requirement, please consult with our Trainers Yve Gould or Heike McCahon.)
Note: Your case can be presented in Core Skills 1 or 2. We require at least 50 % of the group to present in Core Skills 1 and at least 50% Core Skills 2, so get in early!
With the completion of an EFT Externship and Core Skills 1, course participants will have met the requirements for entry into Core Skills 2. The Externship, along with Core Skills 1 & 2 are the pathway training requirements for beginning certification as an EFT therapist. Learn more about the ICEEFT Road to Certification.
