Facilitated in a safe and positive environment, EFT Core Skills 2 focuses on learning the two final change events; the processes that create secure attachment.
This four day workshop includes:
- Supportive Instruction
- Skill demonstration
- Experiential learning
- Video clips with EFT trainers
- Video presentations from participants with practice & case feedback
Learn the skills to hold de-escalation, work with deeper affect, link in attachment needs and complete the two pivotal change events; withdrawer re-engagement and pursuer softening.
- Each participant must present a case and show a 10-20 min tape. (This is an International Centre for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT) requirement. If your agency prevents you from taping clients, or you have other difficulties around this requirement, please consult with our Trainers Yve Gould or Heike McCahon.)
Note: this case can be presented in Core Skills 1 or 2. If you have shown tape in Core Skills 1, you do not need to show tape in Core Skills 2. If you have not shown tape in Core Skills 1, you must show tape in Core Skills 2, according to International Centre for Excellence in EFT (ICEEFT) requirements.
With the completion of Core Skills 2, course participants will have met the pathway training requirements for beginning certification as an EFT therapist. Learn more about the ICEEFT Road to Certification.
